The sale of air tickets at reduced rates for Kaliningrad residents will begin on May 1. Governor of the Kaliningrad region Anton Alikhanov announced this at a press conference on Thursday, April 25.
The amount of funds allocated for these purposes will be, according to him, about 170-180 million rubles. Tickets will be available “exclusively to residents of our region and students who study here,” Anton Alikhanov said.
The official said that the government has already made additional applications for funding. However, whether they will be supported is still unknown.
