The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Novosibirsk Region has compiled a list of the ten most fire-hazardous areas in the region. In first place are Kupinsky, Bagansky and Zdvinsky districts.
According to the Federal State Budgetary Institution “West Siberian UGMS”, from April 24 to 28, 2024 in the Novosibirsk region a high fire danger of class 4 is expected in some places (Kupinsky, Bagansky, Dovolensky and Karasuksky districts). The risk of wildfires increases.
The Kochenevsky, Kargatsky, Kuibyshevsky, Tatarsky and Kyshtovsky districts of the region may also become hotbeds of thermal threats. Every year, it is in these areas that the largest number of fires are recorded.
To prevent fires, last fall 916 settlements were plowed at a distance of 3,000 km.
Earlier, Gorsayt wrote that a fire season has begun in the Novosibirsk region.
