Almost 75-year-old temperature record was broken in Rostov – donnews.ru

In Rostov, on April 25, the maximum air temperature was recorded; it warmed up to +31 °C. The last time the temperature record on this day was set in 1950, then the air warmed up to +28 °C, according to the website zpogoda.ru.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Rostov region warned of abnormal heat in the next two days.

“Fire danger of the 5th emergency class is expected on April 25 and 26 in the Azov region: in the Kuibyshev, Matveevo-Kurgan, and Azov regions. The reason for this was the abnormal heat, which again hit the region. According to weather forecasters, the thermometer will reach +31 degrees in the next two days,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

This is the third temperature record in April 2024. Let us remind you that the head of the Meteo forecasting center, Alexander Shuvalov, announced in his Telegram channel that an absolute record for monthly air temperature will be set in Rostov and Voronezh in April.

According to weather forecasters, on April 27 and 28 in Rostov it will become colder and rainy. But by the May holidays, an anticyclone will arrive, and clear weather will set in with a comfortable temperature of +22 °C.
