Late in the evening of April 25, messages about an unpleasant odor began to appear in Voronezh public pages.
These messages came from a variety of cities: Kominternovsky, Sovetsky, Leninsky. Residents of the Left Bank also complained. The townspeople clarified: there is a strong smell of burning, as if there was a large amount of rubber burning somewhere.
The matter was aggravated by the fact that the evening itself was warm, stuffy and windless.
According to one of the versions expressed here on social networks, the cause of the smell could be the burning of dry grass in a field between Voronezh and Novovoronezh.
By morning, however, the smell had dissipated.
