Parking has been provided for participants in the regional relay in the center of Ulyanovsk – Ulyanovsk today

Let us remind you that on Sunday, April 28, the 80th traditional athletics relay will take place in Ulyanovsk.

As always, the race route for the competition participants will be laid out along the central streets of the city. A number of roads will be closed during the relay.

From 10:30 to 13:30 it will not be possible to travel along the entire relay route, which looks like this: Sobornaya Square – esplanade – New Venets Boulevard – Plastova Boulevard – Goncharova Street – Lenin Street – 12 September Street – Minaeva Street – Goncharova Street – Dmitry Ulyanov – Spasskaya street – Lenin square – esplanade – Cathedral square.

In addition, from 7:00 to 14:00, stopping and parking of vehicles will be prohibited in these areas. The Ulyanovsk administration warns: a tow truck will work.

However, for the convenience of numerous participants in a major sporting event, parking spaces were provided.

Cars can be parked in the parking lot at the Sovetskaya Hotel, the Lenin Memorial, the Wedding Palace and on Dvortsovaya Street.

Cars can also be parked close to the route: on the streets of 12 September, Marata, III International, Radishchev, Koryukin, Krasnoarmeyskaya and in Komsomolsky Lane, as well as near the building of the Kontaktor plant.

Until traffic is blocked, it is proposed to leave the car, including on the streets of Bebel, St. Andrew, Leo Tolstoy, Alexander Matrosov, Karl Liebknecht, Spasskaya and Plekhanov, the parking lot in front of the city administration, and the Khalturin descent. However, in order to leave there, you will need to wait until traffic opens after the end of the relay.
