On April 25, a training seminar for additional education teachers on the topic “Implementation of a short-term additional general education (general development) program “ENGINEERING” was held at the RITM House of Childhood and Youth (Shadrinsk).
The program is implemented in the Tekhris association under the guidance of a teacher Alexey Vorotkov. In 2023, this particular program became the winner of the regional competition for additional general development programs “Let’s start together.”
The program introduces schoolchildren to the technology of reverse engineering, its capabilities, the necessary software, and develops children’s interest in this field. During the training process, the guys get acquainted with the basics of modeling, working with hand-held measuring instruments, a 3D scanner, learn to work on a CNC laser machine, and carry out projects. Training is conducted through a case approach, which helps prepare children to solve practical problems of modern society.
Seminar participants learned about the process of creating exact copies of objects based on an existing model, having the same physical characteristics (reverse engineering). The teachers tried to implement practical skills at the master class “Product modeling in the Autodesk 3Ds Max program.”
DDT students “RHYTHM“presented their works on the topic: “Inventors and inventions.”
It should be noted that the seminar participants were 30 teachers from 6 municipal districts (Dalmatovsky, Shchuchansky, Shadrinsky, Yurgamyshsky, Shatrovsky, Safakulevsky), the cities of Kurgan and Shadrinsk.
