Designer Dmitry Loginov became the author of the uniform for the caretakers of the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-Reserve

The kits developed by Dmitry Loginov are laconic in nature and very convenient in functionality. They include black cotton sweatshirts and stylish steel-colored collars with the museum’s signature logo.

And not only for reasons of fashion or prestige, but because I want to make something truly beautiful and unique, worthy of representing this particular cultural institution and no other.

In Russia, such collabs are only gaining momentum. Thus, the author of the uniform for the caretakers of the Tretyakov Gallery is Victoria Andreyanova, the Bolshoi Theater is Tatyana Parfenova, the New Stage of the Alexandrinka is Valentin Yudashkin, the Museum of Moscow is Igor Chapurin. Designer Dmitry Loginov worked on the image of our museum.”

“There were many factors to consider. From the age of employees (from 22 to 70) to the temperature conditions inside ancient buildings. Not to mention the universal compatibility of the uniform and a wide variety of exhibited objects. It was also necessary to take into account the new VSMZ logo in the shape of a golden arch, created by art director Sergei Meshalkin. Black clothes combined with a large, light, removable collar of a laconic shape, on which the logo was applied – the solution was born quickly, all that remained was to choose the right proportions of the colors used and the configuration of the collar. A museum is a collection of many cultural codes that must, if not conform to, then certainly not contradict. This is not about the moment, not about trends. This is about time-tested solutions,” says Dmitry Loginov.
