A criminal case has been initiated against two representatives of a commercial organization suspected of committing fraud and an employee of a state budgetary institution suspected of abuse of power.
In 2023, a state contract worth about 3 million rubles was concluded between a state medical institution and a commercial organization as part of the implementation of the national project “Healthcare” for the provision of maintenance and repair services for X-ray equipment.
Representatives of the commercial organization prepared and provided invoices for the full scope of work under the contract, including half a million rubles for allegedly repairs and maintenance of two X-ray machines that were not repaired. At the same time, the employee of the medical institution, who was supposed to monitor the implementation of equipment maintenance work, agreed and signed the submitted documents, knowing that the equipment was not maintained or repaired, which resulted in damage to the institution in the amount of more than 570 thousand rubles, that is, on a large scale size.
A criminal case was initiated on the basis of materials presented by the prosecutor’s office of the Arkhangelsk region and the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Arkhangelsk region.
Investigative actions are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime committed. All possible participants in the fraudulent scheme are being identified, reports the regional SUSC.
