The Gryazinsky site of the Lipetsk SEZ received members of the Union of Artists of Russia for the first time

--

The artists made sketches of industrial facilities at the Gryany site of the Lipetsk SEZ. Later the sketches will turn into full-fledged paintings. The sources of inspiration were the administrative and business center of the economic zone, the Lipetsk Coffee Plant and the OBO Bettermann Production enterprise. They painted in different styles – oil, gouache, sketches with watercolor crayons and pencil. This was also the first experience for the company. They are ready to repeat it.

“When I received an invitation to participate in such an industrial plein air, I immediately agreed, because I had never been to a special economic zone. I love coffee very much, so I chose a coffee factory among the proposed locations. The coffee smells beautiful and delicious here,” shared artist Irina Kazantseva.

“It’s very interesting to observe how the production and creative processes intersect, what kind of symbiosis emerges from this. We wish victory to the artists who worked at our enterprise. Perhaps we will consider the conditions for purchasing paintings,” said Boris Rudnev, head of metal processing production.

All works of artists are competitive. At the beginning of 2025, their exhibition will be held in Moscow, and the festival jury will select the best paintings and award prizes to the winners.
