In St. Petersburg, on Angliysky Avenue, a man tried to kill police officers. Fontanka gives details.

A police squad was sent at about 7 a.m. on April 26 to the apartment at house 60 on Angliysky Avenue in the Admiralteysky district. The police were called by an ambulance, which arrived at the same address upon request. According to our publication, the victim’s mother initially contacted doctors: her son took 100 tablets prescribed for epilepsy. But when doctors appeared, he began to behave inappropriately.

When the police arrived, they began to help the ambulance specialists – lift the man from the sofa to transport him to the clinic, and brought him to the wardrobe, where they persuaded him to get dressed. At that moment, the man suddenly grabbed a Makarov pistol from his jacket pocket and shot point-blank at the employee.

According to Fontanka, the second policeman (senior sergeant, platoon commander) immediately returned fire to kill.

The employee was seriously wounded (the bullet went through the shoulder into the neck and hit the spine), he is in intensive care. The attacker received a bullet wound incompatible with life. This 42 year old Mikhail Kolosov. Fontanka found no trace of him on social networks.
