The Kurgan cycling club invites everyone to take part in a bike ride dedicated to the memory of our famous fellow countryman, an outstanding breeder and innovator, twice Hero of Socialist Labor Terenty Semenovich Maltsev.

Let us recall that the labor feat of Terenty Maltsev, an honorary academician of the All-Union Academy of Agricultural Sciences named after V.I. Lenin, Honored Worker of Agriculture of the USSR, Honorary Citizen of Russia – is inscribed in golden letters in the history of our region.

The bike ride will take place within the framework of the project “From Museum to Museum with the Bicycle Mound” and starts on April 30, Tuesday, at 9:00 am from the monument to T.S. Maltsev in the Zaozerny residential area.

The finish line is in the small homeland of our outstanding fellow countryman, in the village of Maltsevo, Shadrinsky district, where participants will be given an excursion to the House-Museum of T.S. Maltseva and overnight stay.

Those who want to take part in the run, but are not sure that they can handle the long distance, can go to the city of Shadrinsk by train. Both groups will meet in Shadrinsk and ride bicycles to the village of Maltsevo.

Return to Kurgan is planned on May 1 by train.
