The Kursk Social Protection Committee invites people with disabilities to take part in the annual Spartakiad among the disabled. It will officially open on May 16 at the Trudovye Reservy stadium. The competition will be attended by Kursk residents aged 18 years and older who have a doctor’s permission stating that there are no contraindications to participate in the sporting event.

Groups are formed by gender and age: men/women up to 40 years old, including wheelchair users; men/women 40 years and older, including wheelchair users.

The Spartakiad program includes arm wrestling, darts, athletics, chess, checkers, table tennis, etc. The winners of the city Spartakiad will be awarded certificates and incentive prizes, and they will take part in the regional Spartakiad among the disabled.

Applications for participation in the city sports day from public organizations involved in working with people with disabilities are accepted until April 27 at the address: st. Pigoreva, 2/17, office. 20 (tel. 32-54-30, 32-53-62).
