Tambov waste management operator owes the budget 159 million rubles

JSC Tambov Grid Company owes more than 159 million rubles in payments to the budget. Such data is posted in the Transparent Business system of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, which is open and allows you to obtain comprehensive information about organizations and individual entrepreneurs. The amount of tax debts of TSK JSC is given as of February 10 and will be updated on May 10. Since November last year, the debt has increased by almost 44 million rubles, or 38%.

Tambov Grid Company is engaged in the transmission of electrical energy, heat supply, water supply and sanitation in the region, and is also the only regional waste management operator. According to the tax service, TSK JSC owes the largest amount in value added tax – 76.9 million rubles, and another 73 million rubles in payment of insurance premiums.

Let us recall that starting from 2019, the Tambov Grid Company plans to build a waste treatment and disposal facility in the Sosnovsky district (now a municipal district), where the bulk of all regional waste should be received. The so-called eco-technopark was supposed to be operational by January 1, 2023, but its construction has not yet begun. The cost of the new facility will be about 3 billion rubles. In January of this year, the government of the Tambov region entered into a concession agreement with EcoTechnoPark Tambov LLC, a subsidiary of TSK JSC, to create a waste treatment and disposal complex in the region. The agreement was concluded based on the results of a competition, one of the conditions for participation in which was the absence of tax debt. EcoTechnoPark Tambov LLC was registered in April 2023 and showed zero revenue at the end of the year. At the same time, the founding organization has accumulated multimillion-dollar debts to the budget, which would not have allowed TSK JSC not only to win the competition for the concession, but also to simply take part in it.
