A youth concert as part of the Pskov Easter Festival will take place in Pskov on May 6, PAI was informed at the Pskov City Youth Center.
The concert will be attended by the vocal workshop of Alina Viardot, the folk group “Ochelye”, Denis Makhankov (organ) and Ilya Krichevsky (oboe), as well as the academic choir of the College of Arts and a quintet of woodwind instruments.
The event will take place in the concert hall of the Pskov Regional College of Arts (Voevody Shuisky Street, 2), beginning at 18:30. Entrance to the concert is strictly by invitation, which can be obtained free of charge from May 3 at the Pskov youth center (Maxim Gorky Street, 15).
The organizers of the concert are the Pskov City Youth Center, the vocal workshop of Alina Viardot and the Pskov Regional College of Arts.
In addition, the XIII Youth Easter Festival includes not only a festive concert, which will take place on May 6, but also a festive program on May 5, which will be held together with the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral on its temple grounds. As part of this program, there will also be a master class on the Easter ringing, which will be conducted by Ignatius Sheshukov in the Church of Demetrius of Thessalonica in Pole.
