The results of the annual All-Russian competition for the best regional practices in supporting and developing volunteering have been summed up in the Orenburg region | 04/26/2024 | Orenburg News

In the Orenburg region, 3 winners were announced based on the results of the selection of recipients of subsidies for financial support of costs associated with the implementation of practices to support volunteering (volunteering) based on the results of the annual All-Russian competition of the best regional practices for supporting and developing volunteering (volunteering) “Region of Good Deeds” of the national project “ Education”.

The Youth Policy Department of the Orenburg Policy, represented by the organizer of the selection, approved all 3 applications for participation in the selection for the provision of subsidies, received in April of this year, from non-profit organizations carrying out activities related to assistance in the development of volunteering (volunteering).

Based on the results of consideration of applications, the following socially significant projects became winners:

The Orenburg regional children’s public organization “Regional Agency for Children’s Recreation “Orenburg Vacations” presented the project “Tent of Good Deeds”, which is aimed at involving school-age children in volunteer activities by ensuring the continuity of active work during the holiday period.

The Orenburg regional youth public organization for supporting socially significant initiatives “Navigator” came up with the project “We need to find out!”, which was developed based on the relevance and severity of the problem of the spread of HIV infection among this age group. Prevention of HIV infection among working youth aged 28 to 35 years contributes to the formation of positive, healthy attitudes and beliefs in the target group and the involvement of older youth in social practice.

The Orenburg regional branch of the All-Russian Youth Public Organization “Russian Student Teams” will implement the project “Educational Project “Cat Scientist””, within the framework of which at least 30 trips of volunteer teams will be organized to social institutions of the Orenburg region, where orphans and children live and study left without parental care, to conduct practical master classes, educational seminars and entertainment events aimed at adapting children of this category in a particular profession or hobby.

An increase in the proportion of citizens engaged in volunteer activities or involved in the activities of volunteer organizations characterizes the quality and effectiveness of achieving one of the target indicators of the national project “Education”
