Akhmed Dudayev: “Today BRICS is attracting more and more supporters and like-minded people”

Assistant to the Head of the Chechen Republic, Minister of the Chechen Republic for National Policy, External Relations, Press and Information Akhmed Dudayev, speaking at a forum with the participation of representatives of the BRICS countries in Grozny, noted that the expansion of interregional and international cooperation for the Chechen Republic is one of the most pressing areas.

“We are proud to declare that today the Chechen Republic is the safest and most stable region in the country. Expanding interregional and international cooperation is one of the most pressing areas for us,” the minister said. Today, BRICS is attracting more and more supporters and like-minded people – states that share the fundamental principles that underlie its activities. This is sovereign equality, respect for the choice of one’s own path of development, mutual consideration of interests, openness, consensus, the desire to form a multipolar world order and a fair model of the global financial and trading system, the search for collective solutions to the most pressing problems of our time.”

The forum’s agenda includes discussion of issues related to culture, tourism, investment, creative economy, healthcare, sports diplomacy, digital technology, cinema, education and the role of women in modern society.

Akhmed Dudayev also noted that the Russian Federation is committed to the principles of cooperation within the BRICS framework and considers this association not only as a platform for dialogue between countries, but also a solid foundation for the formation of a multipolar world order.

“The consolidation of scientific and production potential, labor resources, along with fresh breakthrough ideas provides an opportunity to join forces to implement similar strategies and develop effective measures to respond to internal and external challenges. We are all working on the same task – building a model of a unified and strong state that would be absolutely equally attractive and loved by everyone,” the minister said.

He also emphasized thatthe positive image of the Chechen Republic and the authority of Ramzan Kadyrov create conditions for actively attracting business communities, religious, academic and political intelligentsia from Russia and from all over the world to the republic.

“I hope that our meeting today will serve as a kind of foundation for a constructive dialogue between us. We express confidence that our mutual cooperation will help strengthen friendship, mutual understanding and fruitful interaction,” added A. Dudayev.
