*** Evgeniy Aleksandrovich Ponomarenko was born on April 10, 1981 in the city of Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan.
In 2003, he graduated with honors from the Ufa State Institute of Service with a degree in “Design and Service of Household Machines and Appliances, Engineer,” and in 2017, also with honors, from the Bashkir Academy of Public Service and Management under the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan with a degree in “State and Municipal Administration.”
In 2006-2017, he worked in senior positions at NPF Cross LLC, PREM LLC, KorpusGroup Ural LLC, Asia Import LLC.
In 2017-2019, he was Deputy Director, Deputy Director for Strategic Development and Innovation of the State Autonomous Institution Akbuzat Hippodrome named after T.T. Kusimova”, state autonomous institution “Competence Center of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports “Akbuzat”.
In 2019-2020, he worked in senior positions in the autonomous non-profit “Congress Bureau of the Republic of Bashkortostan “Office Group”, which was engaged in the preparation and implementation of events to develop interethnic and international cooperation.
In 2020-2021 – head of department of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of Bashkortostan, Deputy Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation of Bashkortostan.
In 2021, he became deputy director of the department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
In 2021-2022, he held the position of director of the municipal autonomous institution “Agency for the Development of the Territory of the Municipal District of Iglinsky District of the Republic of Bashkortostan.”
In September 2022, he was appointed Acting Minister of Economic Development and Industry of Komi, and already in November of the same year he lost the prefix “i.” O.”. In March 2023, he became deputy chairman of the Komi government, retaining his ministerial portfolio. The department changed its name to the Ministry of Economic Development, Industry and Transport, and from mid-2023 it began to oversee another area – tourism.
