On holidays, medical institutions in the region switch to special operating hours.

As the regional health department told Gorodskiye Vesti, from April 27 to May 1 and from May 8 to 12, clinics in Volgograd and Volzhsky will receive patients daily. Patients with signs of an infectious disease, ARVI and COVID-19 will be treated in special rooms and departments. Trauma centers and ambulance stations will operate around the clock, and outpatient cancer care centers will have specialists on duty in one shift.

Children’s clinics will have a separate schedule, which is posted on their websites. Medical care will be provided on an outpatient basis and at home, primarily to children under 1 year of age and from families in difficult life situations, pregnant women, patients with limited mobility, patients with COVID-19, ARVI, community-acquired pneumonia, disabled people, WWII veterans and family members of mobilized citizens.

On holidays, residents of the region will have access to the issuance of preferential prescriptions and the opening of sick leave, the operation of pharmacies, call centers of clinics for calls from citizens in accordance with the work schedule of medical organizations and “Service 122”. Every day, specialized assistance will be provided by antenatal clinics in accordance with the schedule, and dental services will be provided on a separate schedule.
