In St. Petersburg, the design of a future sports complex is underway, which will be built opposite house No. 9, building 2 on Lenskaya Street in the Krasnogvardeisky district. The Petersburg Diary was told about this by the Investment Committee.

“Now the investor is designing the facility. Design solutions are still in development,” the department noted.
Let us remind you that the completion date for construction of the complex is August 3, 2026.

The two-story sports complex will be equipped with spectator stands for 500 seats. It is planned to host amateur volleyball and basketball competitions here. It will also have a training room, a medical office, and a fitness cafe.

It should be noted that after completion of construction, part of the non-residential premises with an area of 150 square meters will be transferred to the ownership of St. Petersburg by the investor.

“The volleyball and basketball complex will not only expand opportunities for sports in the Krasnogvardeisky district, but will also improve the sports infrastructure in the city as a whole,” said city mayor Alexander Beglov during a working meeting with members of the St. Petersburg government in 2022.
