In 2023, the Arbitration Court of the Kirov Region recovered 26 million rubles in compensation for violation of intellectual rights.
147 disputes were resolved. Of these, 26 are disputes related to copyright protection; 3 – patent rights; 55 – rights to trademarks, brand names.
As the press service of the arbitration said, facts of illegal use of the trademark of the Kalashnikov concern (Izhevsk) were discovered on marketplaces; goods 3D graphics model “Cheburashka”. The exclusive rights of ZINGER and KAIZER (counterfeit manicure instruments) were violated.
The use of photographs without providing information about the author was also disputed. Violations of the rights of musical authors have been registered, for example, the illegal sale of CDs by Sergei Trofimov and the public performance of Elton John’s phonograms.
