This year, the authorities plan to spend more than 130 million rubles on the improvement of 47 schools and 55 kindergartens in Voronezh, city mayor Vadim Kstenin said on Friday, April 26, in his Telegram channel.

The mayor noted that last year, under the program for improving the territories of educational institutions, the territory of 72 schools was paved. In addition, paths and areas were paved, fences were repaired, outdoor equipment was installed, and obstacle courses were built.

In some schools, the renovation of the territory will continue this year. Basically, all that remains is to install obstacle courses for life safety and physical education classes.

— In addition to 47 schools, we will carry out improvements in 55 kindergartens. The profilers have already worked through their list, determined the scope of work and funding for each institution,” announced the head of Voronezh.

In total, 82.5 million rubles will be allocated to tidy up the territory of kindergartens, and more than 50 million rubles will be allocated to schools. About 90% of the funds come from the regional budget. All work, ideally, should be completed by the beginning of the new school year.
