The meeting was held within the framework of the “Cooperation” program of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises”.

The regional center “My Business” held a Supplier Day (18+) in the field of “Shipbuilding” for more than 130 companies in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The meeting took place within the framework of the “Cooperation” program of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises”. This is the first event of the program in the Nizhny Novgorod region this year. A series of ten industry meetings between major customers and potential suppliers will take place throughout the year.

“Large shipbuilding companies in the region are interested in establishing business relationships with local small and medium-sized businesses. This interaction allows Nizhny Novgorod residents to optimize supply chains and reduce logistics costs. In order for potential partners to learn about each other, we gathered more than 130 participants at the industry Supplier Day,” said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

He added that the customers at the event were Shipbuilding Sudoremont LLC, Okskaya Shipyard JSC, Krasnoye Sormovo Plant PJSC, Gorodetsky Ship Repair and Mechanical Plant LLC.

During the event, customers spoke about their needs and how to participate in their procurement program. The meeting participants also held business negotiations.

Representatives of the Regional Ministry of Industry informed about the current support measures in the region within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises”.

In addition, a pitch session was held at which manufacturers presented their products to customers. 15 companies* took part in it. Specialists from the “My Business” center provided assistance in preparing a presentation for the participants.

One of the enterprises participating in the Shipbuilding Industry Supplier Day is NPF MRS Electronics LLC. The company is engaged in the development and production of electronic equipment for ships.

“At Supplier Day, we were able to communicate with existing partners and representatives of companies new to us. We discussed the projects that major shipbuilders in the region are currently working on and presented them with their production capabilities. In addition, we were able to discuss cooperation options with other suppliers. It is convenient that, in addition to negotiations with enterprises, the “My Business” center organized the opportunity to receive consultations on support measures. Today we had a productive conversation with specialists from the Export Support Center,” said Igor Rusakov, executive director of NPF MRS Electronics LLC.

The next Supplier Day (18+) is scheduled for June 11th. It will bring together potential customers and suppliers in the hospitality industry. To participate in the event, you can contact the regional center “My Business” (mybusiness52.rf), opened as part of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives.” The center operates a “My Business” hotline, where you can also get all the necessary information.
