A competition for the position of Commissioner for Human Rights has been announced in the Lipetsk region | LIPETSKNEWS

The deadline for submitting documents is from April 30 to May 30.

“A citizen of the Russian Federation who has reached the age of 30, permanently residing in the Russian Federation, has an impeccable reputation, has a higher education, as well as knowledge in the field of human and civil rights and freedoms, and experience in their protection,” can be appointed to the position of Commissioner for Human Rights in the region,” – reported in the regional council.

Also, the candidate cannot have citizenship (nationality) of a foreign state, or a residence permit or other document confirming the right to permanent residence of a citizen of the Russian Federation on the territory of a foreign state.

Proposals for candidacy for the position of commissioner can be made by: the governor, deputies of the regional council, local government bodies, public associations registered in the Lipetsk region, human rights organizations.
