The tourism infrastructure of the Voronezh region continues to develop thanks to participation in the national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry,” Governor Alexander Gusev said in his Telegram channel on April 26.
He announced plans for this year: to create a new tourist and recreational cluster (for now its working name is “Sacred Don”). The cluster territory will stretch from Pavlovsk to Rossosh.
“We plan to create routes, both pedestrian and bicycle, and water routes,” explained the head of the region. – The center of attraction will be Pavlovsk, through which many people travel along the M-4 Don. We will introduce guests to our region to the sights of the south of the Voronezh region.”
In addition, the authorities plan to create two national interregional tourist routes.
“We have already signed a cooperation agreement with the Rostov region: our route will be called “Startup of Peter the Great,” the governor shared the details. “We will soon sign an agreement with the Lipetsk region: together we will create a family and children’s route with a “fairytale” orientation.”
And on holidays, he recalled, the Moscow-Lipetsk-Voronezh tourist train will be launched on May 8th.
