On April 24, the rector of the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Kurgan, the deputy head of the diocesan department for youth affairs of the Kurgan diocese, Priest Dimitry Zhernakov, met with 1st year students of the Kurgan Regional College of Culture.

The topic of the conversation between the priest and students was marriage and weddings: the birth of a family, relationships in marriage, the concept of “kinship” and “property”.

At the end of the conversation, the priest spoke about the Sacrament of Wedding – about its short order, symbolism, meaning.

“The students listened with interest. Many questions were asked, both on the topic of family and about the Christian view of life,” Father Dimitri shared.
