The design of the temple in the Moskovsky district of Nizhny Novgorod has passed the examination

The project for the construction of a church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Helper in Childbirth” in Nizhny Novgorod has passed a non-state examination. A positive conclusion on it and the results of engineering surveys were issued on April 25, according to the GIS USRZ website. A religious building is being erected near building No. 14 on Krasny Pakhar Street in the Moskovsky district.

The developer of the temple is the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. The project was developed by specialists from the regional Construction Engineering and Energy Company, Proektstroy LLC and Gas-Service. The examination was carried out by the Moscow Group of Companies “RSE”.

The capacity of the temple in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Helper in Childbirth” will be up to 600 people. Its construction near the intersection of Narodnaya and Akmolinskaya streets in the Burnakovsky microdistrict started in 2022. The laying ceremony was performed by Metropolitan George of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas.

Total in Nizhny Novgorod now eight Orthodox churches are being built. The remaining seven will be located on Pushkin Street in the Sovetsky district, on Snezhnaya – in Leninsky, on Levinka Street – in Moskovsky, on Sutyrina Street in Sormovo, on Shkolnaya and Poyushcheva streets – at Avtozavod and on Gorokhovetskaya in the Sortirovochny microdistrict.

We also wrote earlier that two more temples it is planned to build in the Kanavinsky and Avtozavodsky districts. The first may appear within the boundaries of Chongarskaya Street, Lane and Rubo Street – near Hospital No. 10, the other – on the territory of Hospital No. 24 on Hero Vasilyev Street.
