In Volgograd, Andrei Bocharov awarded farmers, scientists and officials

On April 26, a solemn ceremony of awarding farmers, workers in the transport sector, education, sports, municipal and state administration took place in Volgograd. The awards were presented to residents of the region personally by the Governor of the Volgograd Region, Andrey Bocharov.

– Today, on the eve of Spring and Labor Day, in the Hall of Military and Labor Glory of the Volgograd Region, according to the already established good tradition, we honor the residents of the Volgograd Region who have earned high state and public recognition. You, representatives of various professions, are united by your love for your small homeland, for the Volgograd region, for our Great Fatherland. Each of you works with the highest professionalism and complete dedication. You raise, educate children, teach the younger generation; ensure transport and food security of the Volgograd region and our entire country; develop physical education and sports; fulfill the tasks of socio-economic development of municipalities and our Volgograd region, – noted the head of the region.

During the award ceremony, special attention was paid to large families. In 2024, the Meleshkov couple, who raised 18 children: 12 daughters and 6 sons, were awarded the Order of Parental Glory.

Ten residents of the region were awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree. Among the recipients are scientists, Russian Railways employees, deputies and officials.

In addition, today signs were awarded for the honorary titles “Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation”, “Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Russian Federation”, “Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation”, medals “For Work in Agriculture”, as well as diplomas of the President RF and gratitude from the Government of Russia, medal “For Services to the Volgograd Region”, signs “For Impeccable State Civil Service of the Volgograd Region”, certificates of honor from the governor.
