The city holiday of Spring and Labor took place in Tula

On Thursday, April 25, the city’s Spring and Labor Festival took place in the creative industrial cluster “Octave”. The award ceremony was attended by the mayor of Tula Olga Slyusareva, deputy head of administration Elena Birzhevaya, deputy minister – director of the department of labor and employment of the region’s Ministry of Labor Svetlana Ilyushina, ombudsman Tatyana Larina and chairman of the regional federation of trade unions Sergei Sudnitsyn.

The mayor noted that the region is developing thanks to the achievements of Tula residents. The successes of each resident evoke respect and pride. Elena Birzhevaya added that the holiday is permeated with a sense of solidarity of everyone who helps build our future.

“Our achievements today give us the opportunity to look to the future with confidence. I would like to wish everyone longevity, activity, and success in work,” Birzhevaya emphasized.

As part of the holiday, the city’s five most prominent labor dynasties were awarded awards and gifts.

Thus, the Mitrofanov dynasty works at Tulgorelektrotrans. Total work experience is 83 years. The dynasty includes drivers, a technical section foreman, and an electrician. The operation of public transport depends on their professionalism. The Baev-Korenkov-Komarovsky dynasty of mechanical engineers has 276 years of experience. Its representatives work at KBP as programmers, engineers, electricians and mechanics. For their work they have been repeatedly awarded with various awards.

The Punin-Stavitsky family has been working at Tulamashzavod for 152 years. It has engineers, turners and mechanics. The length of service of the Zamaraev-Golikov dynasty is 476 years. They work at Tulachermet as craftsmen, engineers, machine operators, mechanics and pressers-vulcanizers. The Evdokimov dynasty has been working in the healthcare sector for 76 years.

In addition, the winners of the “Best in Profession” competition among workers received letters of gratitude from the head of the administration and gifts. The winners of the same competition, but among college students, were awarded. Also, the prize of the head of the administration “Skillful Hands” and the incentive prize “For the will to win” were given to students who showed high scores in their skills.
