In the Voronezh region in 2024, it is planned to create several new tourist and recreational routes, one of which is the “Startup of Peter the Great,” Governor Alexander Gusev said at the “Russia” exhibition and forum on Friday, April 26.

This is one of the national interregional tourist routes. A cooperation agreement with the Rostov region has already been signed. Another agreement will soon be concluded – with the Lipetsk region. In cooperation with the neighboring region, a “fairytale” route for families and children will appear.

Plans for the current year also include the creation of a new tourist and recreational cluster under the working title “Sacred Don”. It will cover the path from Pavlovsk to Rossosh and consist of different types of routes: pedestrian, water, bicycle.

— The center of attraction will be Pavlovsk, through which many people travel along the M-4 Don. We will introduce the guests of our region to the sights of the south of the Voronezh region,” the head of the region, Alexander Gusev, shared his plans.

In addition, on May 8, a new tourist train No. 921/922 will depart on its first voyage.Two provinces“connecting Moscow, Lipetsk and Voronezh. In two days, tourists will visit the Kudykina Gora natural park of wonders, try mineral water from the Lipetsk pump room, and also learn about the development of Russian shipbuilding when visiting Admiralty Square in Voronezh.

The governor also announced plans to implement a project to develop children’s tourism called “City of Discovery”
