In the Orenburg region, they launched a regional program to attract full-time 5th year students of the Orenburg Pedagogical University to rural and urban schools. Schools in Gaisky, Sorochinsky, Sol-Iletsk city districts, Adamovsky, Aleksandrovsky, Buzuluksky, Belyaevsky and Buguruslansky districts are taking part in the project.
On April 22, school directors met with final year students of the OGPU – future teachers of mathematics, physics, computer science, Russian language, literature, chemistry, biology, history, social studies, physical education – to present their educational organizations and talk about working conditions, workload, and individual offers for young teachers on salary, additional payments and free housing.
For example, in the Gai urban district, the program partner is the Gai Mining and Processing Plant. Student teachers will receive 300,000 rubles. lifting allowances, a monthly supplement of 15,000 rubles and compensation for rent.
School directors have proposed official employment; the OGPU administration, in turn, is considering the issue of individual curricula for students who decide to go to work in schools in the region.
– All fifth-year students must undergo an internship. The uniqueness of the program is that while still students, the guys receive official employment and gain experience. A convenient schedule is drawn up for them, which will allow them to combine study and work,” shared IRO director Svetlana Krupina. – Today, the heads of educational organizations spoke about the allowance and system of incentive payments that will operate in their municipality for young specialists; if desired, class management will also be offered, which also implies additional payments. We hope that this initiative will help attract young professionals to the districts and solve a number of personnel issues currently facing institutions.
