The Bank of Russia kept the key rate at 16% per annum

On April 26, the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia decided to maintain the key rate at 16% per annum, the press service of the regulator told PAI.

Let us remind you that the last time the Central Bank increased the key rate was on December 15, 2023 by 100 basis points – to 16% per annum.

The key rate is the minimum interest rate at which the Central Bank provides loans to commercial banks for a week and at which it is ready to accept funds for deposits.
