The Vologda Nekhaevs received an award for their great services in strengthening the institution of family and raising children.
“By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated March 14, 2024, the Vologda Nekhaev family was awarded the Medal of the Order of Parental Glory. Lyudmila Anatolyevna and Andrey Valerievich are raising five children,” – said Deputy Governor of the region Alexander Ershov.
The eldest daughter Ksenia is a student at the Tambov State Music and Pedagogical Institute. The girl copes well with her studies, successfully passes exams and actively participates in social activities.
Son Oleg graduated from 10th grade, studying in a general education program adapted for hearing-impaired students with mental retardation. With the help of his parents, the young man attends extracurricular activities. Under the guidance of his father, he is actively involved in tennis and with great desire participates in the events of the “Days of Good Deeds” project.
Sons Mikhail and Alexey study at school. Mikhail is a member of the school theater “Childhood”, plays music and enjoys tennis. Alexey actively participates in the school stages of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in Russian language and mathematics, and is the winner of the All-Russian online Olympiad Uchi.ru “Safe Internet” (2022) and in English (2023). The youngest son, Egor, goes to kindergarten and is interested in arts and crafts.
The head of the family, Andrey Valerievich, has been working in a locomotive depot for 39 years. He worked his way up from a mechanic repairing rolling stock to a 3rd class electric locomotive driver. For many years, Andrei Valerievich has been conducting trade union work, providing assistance in protecting the rights of workers, holding thematic information days, organizing and taking an active part in sports, cultural events and humanitarian actions.
In his free time, Andrey plays table tennis and badminton, attracting his colleagues and family. The Nekhaevs participate in all corporate, city and regional sports competitions in these sports and take prizes.
Lyudmila Anatolyevna Nekhaeva devoted her life to family and raising children.
