Rostov region, April 26, 2024. DON24.RU. Methodological recommendations for the maintenance of public areas were developed by the Don Ministry of Housing and Communal Services. According to the regional government website, the document contains a classification of the main types of public areas, outlines general requirements for their maintenance at different times of the year, repair of coatings, etc.

“A single document has been developed to help municipalities organize work on the maintenance of public areas. Proper maintenance and operation of landscaped spaces is one of the most important indicators of the performance of the municipal economy. Thanks to these recommendations, it is planned to increase the level of maintenance of public spaces,” the source quotes the region’s Housing and Communal Services Minister Sergei Sizikov as saying.

For each park, square or other public space, a technological map of content will be developed, taking into account location, climatic features, area and other characteristics.

“Our task is to help improve the quality of life of the region’s residents. We have the necessary mechanisms for this. Thanks to the federal project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment” in the Rostov region, people have the opportunity to participate in the development of their settlements, which also improves the quality of life,” the portal quotes the minister as saying.

Earlier, Governor Vasily Golubev called on Don residents to vote for improvement projects. This can be done until April 30 on the website 61.gorodsreda.ru.
