Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak at a meeting with oil workers on the fuel market, he instructed the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) analyze cases of excess retail prices at gas stations over small wholesale prices in some regions and eliminate the disparity.

According to the press service of the Russian government, he also instructed oil companies to submit to the Ministry of Energy and Russian Railways plans for the shipment of petroleum products to the domestic and foreign markets in May to ensure the possibility of promptly drawing up transportation schedules.

In addition, during the meeting, supplies of gasoline and diesel to the domestic market from oil refineries by rail to meet consumer demand, as well as compliance with delivery deadlines, were discussed.

In the Irkutsk region today the average gasoline price, according to Rosstat, 55.59 rubles per liter. At the same time, at the beginning of April it was 55.36 rubles. Including a liter of AI-92 now costs, on average, 51.36 rubles, AI-95 – 54.76 rubles, AI-98 – 72.86 rubles, diesel – 69.03 rubles.

During the period from April 16 to April 22, 2024, an increase in gasoline prices was recorded in 47 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and a decrease in prices occurred in 10 regions, Rosstat reports.
