Deputy of the Saratov Regional Duma Denis Bulanov appealed to law enforcement agencies in connection with the purchase by the regional government of a pleasure yacht for the rescue service. A member of the legislative assembly announced this today, April 26, in his Telegram channel.
Earlier it became known that the government purchased the T-Rex 40 vessel for 37.4 million rubles for the needs of the regional rescue service. The media found out that T-Rex is a pleasure yacht for use on rivers and at sea. At the same time, the regional rescue service stated that vessels of this class “are used for emergency response during search and rescue operations in remote areas of the Volga River,” and the specified model is “equipped with elements of special equipment, access to which is limited.”
“During the electronic auction, the documentation did not specify the re-equipment of the watercraft for the needs of the rescue service (installation of rescue equipment, etc.),” notes Bulanov. — In addition, it was not possible to find in open sources a separate purchase by the State Institution SO “State Agency for Centralization of Procurement” or the State Institution “Rescue Service of the Saratov Region” for the conversion of this vessel for the needs of the rescue service. This expensive purchase was made by the executive authorities of the Saratov region during a special military operation.”
The deputy wrote requests to the Investigative Committee of Russia and the Prosecutor General’s Office. He asked to “conduct a review of the feasibility of purchasing a motor vessel for the needs of the rescue service of the Saratov region, with the specified characteristics and at the specified price,” and also “to conduct a review of the use of the T-Rex 40 motor vessel by the rescue service of the Saratov region,” since “it is possible , it was used for other purposes and by other persons.”
