A Pskov resident will appear in court for stealing money from a card

A Pskov resident will stand trial for stealing money from a pensioner’s bank card, the Pskov prosecutor’s office told PAI.

On March 31, a woman found a forgotten bank card at the checkout counter in a supermarket and used it to buy food and medicine for more than three thousand rubles.

It turned out that the card belonged to a 76-year-old pensioner, who, when she saw funds missing from her account, contacted the police.

A criminal case was opened against the Pskov resident and sent to court. She faces up to six years in prison or a fine.
