Moscow. 26 April. INTERFAX.RU – The European Parliament’s resolution on non-recognition of the results of the presidential elections in the Russian Federation indicates the stable Russophobic position of this organization, said the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

“It’s unlikely that these are statements that we are ready to listen to. The European Parliament has long established itself in the position of such strong, consistent Russophobia,” a Kremlin representative said on Friday, commenting on the corresponding decision of the European Parliament.

Last Thursday, the European Parliament adopted a resolution calling not to recognize the results of the presidential elections in the Russian Federation, calling them undemocratic.

According to Peskov, “contrary to, probably, the main calling of parliamentarians – to build a dialogue, to look for ways for such a dialogue, he (European Parliament – IF) “has turned into a machine of such rabid statements and internal contradictions.”
