Two Muscovites who produced more than 53 kilograms of drugs were tried in Vladimir

The illegal laboratory was located in the village of Stavrovo, Vyaznikovsky district. In December 2022, the men rented non-residential premises to produce drugs.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the defendants placed special chemical and other auxiliary equipment there.

In the period from April 17 to May 5, 2023, having information about the method of drug production, the convicts illegally produced for further sale more than 53 kg of mephedrone, part of which weighing over 20 kg, one of them placed in a cache equipped on the territory of the Kovrovsky district of Vladimirskaya areas.

On May 5 last year, FSB officers raided the laboratory. They removed the drugs from circulation.

The court sentenced the perpetrators to 14 and 13 years in prison to be served in a maximum security colony. The Volkswagen Tiguan and Renault Loga cars in which the convicts transported drugs were confiscated to the state. The verdict has not yet entered into force.
