The transition to a new standard of emergency medical care is coming to an end in the capital. It began to be implemented more than a year ago in the largest city hospitals, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his Telegram channel.

First of all, the standard appeared in 4 flagship centers. Emergency time has decreased by 1.5 times, 70% of patients receive a full examination and diagnosis within 2 hours from admission.

The new standard has already been implemented in the admission departments of City Clinical Hospital Nos. 24 and 13, City Clinical Hospital named after. Konchalovsky and State Clinical Hospital named after. Zhadkevich. Specialists also reconstructed the emergency departments of children’s hospitals of the Children’s City Clinical Hospital named after. Filatov and the Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology.

In the coming months, the city will complete the renovation of 6 more emergency departments. By the end of the year, the vast majority of metropolitan clinics will switch to the new standard.
