The Orel administration discussed the safety of May holiday events

The next meeting of the city anti-terrorism commission took place today. It was headed by Orel Mayor Yuri Parakhin. This time, members of the commission discussed security measures during the May holidays, the administration’s press service reports.
Particular attention was paid to the facilities where the festive events will take place. The task is to strengthen security measures at the sites and provide sound warning to the population.
As Oksana Tararychenkova, head of the department for organizational work, youth policy and relations with public organizations of the Orel administration, said, in total more than 100 events are planned. Among the mass ones are the project “We Sing to the Whole Yard”, the thematic fair-exhibition “Made in Russia. We choose Orlovskoye!”, the event-concert “Living Memory of Past Years”, “Festival of Soldiers’ Cuisine – 2024” and others.
