The Russian youth team (U20) defeated the Kazakhstan team in a match of the Betting League Cup of the Future tournament, which takes place in Novosibirsk.

The meeting ended with a score of 12:0. Mikhail Ilyin and Egor Solovyov scored a double each. Vitaly Pesterev, Vladimir Mikhalev, Maxim Velikov, Vyacheslav Malov, Egor Varyushkin, Magomed Sharakanov, Alexey Vasilkov and Nikita Artamonov also scored goals.

The Russian team scored four points in two matches and leads the standings with four points. Next are the teams of Belarus and the Student Hockey League (SHL), who scored two points each. Kazakhstan lost two matches.

In the final match of the tournament, the Russian team will play with their peers from Belarus, and Kazakhstan will meet with the SHL team. Both meetings will take place on April 28.
