In the Tambov region they continue to help large families. At the next meeting of the regional Duma, in the first reading, deputies adopted a law on new social support measures.
When assigning social support measures to a large family, children aged 18 to 23 years old taking part in the SVO will now be taken into account. Also, in the event of the death of such a child or several children during a special military operation, the family will retain the status of “large family.” This is one of the new social support measures that will appear in our region in pursuance of the Presidential decree.
Maxim Egorov, Head of the Tambov region: “We are making appropriate changes in accordance with the decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, in accordance with the recommendations given to us by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation. We already have a large number of support measures in place in the region. I also reported on this to the Government of the Russian Federation. We are expanding them. And this will further stimulate the emergence of large families in our region.”
According to the bill, housing benefits for large families are provided for at least 30% of the established payment amount. Deputies also considered the issue of payments to veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
Maxim Egorov, Head of the Tambov region: “One of the bills is a separate financial assistance dedicated to the 79th anniversary of our great Victory. This is for our veterans and home front workers.”
More than 3 thousand residents of the Tambov region will receive payments. Participants of the Great Patriotic War and persons equivalent to them in the amount of 5 thousand rubles. Home front workers – in the amount of 3 thousand. In addition, the deputies considered the issue of establishing a literary prize named after the Hero of Russia, writer Anatoly Eremenko, our fellow countryman, a deceased member of the Northern Military District. The initiative to create such a prize was made by the Head of the region, Maxim Egorov.
