The winner of the competition for the best technological projects was named in Rostov-on-Don

Rostov region, April 26, 2024. DON24.RU. In Rostov-on-Don, the winner of the competition for the best technological projects in the country was named. The results were announced during the startup tour “Regional Fast and Furious” of the innovation center of Russia “Skolkovo” of the VEB.RF Group, the Don government reported.

First place in the grand final in the field of “Biotechnologies in Medicine and Agriculture” was taken by the project of the “Tekhnika Plaza” team with technology for food preservation. The development allows you to store food for a long time without refrigeration. The winner received 300 thousand rubles for the development of the project.

In addition to the competition, the “Regional Fast and the Furious” tour program included a panel discussion on the topic of personnel training in the IT sector, a plenary session on the development of technological entrepreneurship in the south of Russia, and various master classes.

The startup tour was attended by the head of the regional Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Papushenko, the director of the regional development department of the Skolkovo Foundation Yuri Sibirsky, and the director of the regional operator of the Skolkovo Foundation in the Rostov region ANO Firon Inna Shengof.

According to the minister, the Rostov region ranks first in the country in terms of the share of organizations introducing technological innovations, and second in terms of the level of innovative activity of organizations.

“One confirmation of this is more than 2 billion rubles of attracted grants from the Innovation Promotion Fund over the past few years,” said Maxim Papushenko.

He also noted the importance of cooperation with the Skolkovo Foundation for the region.

According to Yuri Sibirsky, there are more than 40 fund participants in the Rostov region. Entrepreneurs received Skolkovo resident status without leaving the region. They have the opportunity to take advantage of all tax preferences provided at the federal level.

Startup tours “Regional Fast and Furious” are taking place in six cities across the country this year. They have already taken place in Khanty-Mansiysk, Omsk, Tolyatti and Rostov, with Izhevsk and Lipetsk ahead. The purpose of such tours is to search for promising innovative developments and support technological entrepreneurship.
