Moscow. 26 April. INTERFAX – Almost 40 thousand square meters of parking spaces were bought by citizens from Moscow in the first quarter of 2024, the press service of the capital’s Department of City Property (DGI) reported.

“Since the beginning of 2024, Muscovites have bought 2.6 thousand objects (car spaces – IF) with a total area of ​​39.5 thousand square meters. This is more than 60% higher than the same period last year,” said the deputy mayor of the capital Vladimir Efimov.

According to him, in January-March 2023, Muscovites bought more than 1.6 thousand places with an area of ​​24.9 thousand square meters. You can buy parking spaces from the city by preemptive right and at auction.

The head of the DGI, Maxim Gaman, clarified that since the beginning of the year, the most parking spaces have been purchased in the southwest of the city – 892 with an area of ​​13.37 thousand sq.m.
