Today, April 26, the governor of the Ulyanovsk region, Alexey Russkikh, presented the “Warm Heart” badge to Danila Barmin from the Karsun district for his courage and heroism.
Last year, a young man saved his mother, brother, sister and neighbor with a child from a burning house.

Let us remind you that a fire in a residential building on Bolnichnaya Street in the regional center of Karsun occurred on January 27, 2023. Danila saw a flame on the common veranda at night and immediately woke up his mother, brother and sister. Having wrapped the younger children in a blanket, he helped the mother take them out of the smoke-filled apartment and reported the fire by calling 112.

– On the eve of Firefighter Day, we thank those who risk their lives every day to save others. Since the beginning of the year, the region’s fire service has extinguished more than 500 fires, rescuing 50 adults and children from the fire, said Alexey Russkikh.
