On Easter (May 5) and Radonitsa (May 14), city cemeteries will work extended hours, from 7:00 to 20:00. City manager Alexey Logvinenko announced this on his Telegram channel.
The usual operating hours for Rostov cemeteries include visits from 8 a.m. to 5 or 6 p.m. With the arrival of spring, townspeople actively clean up the graves of loved ones, take out trash and mow the grass. The opening hours of cemeteries on Easter and Radonitsa will be extended to avoid traffic congestion
According to the city manager, container sites appeared on the territory of the cemeteries last year, and in May of this year 117 garbage containers will be placed there.
Previously, “Notebook Rostov” talked about a personal assistant in cemeteries named Anton. The young man proposes installing monuments and fences, pouring concrete and landscaping graves.
