Maxim Uvaidov emphasized the importance of the problems that are being solved by farmers and representatives of the authorities of the Central Federal District at the district meeting, which takes place in the regional capital. According to him, “today Kaluga has become the meat capital of the Central Federal District.”
The Deputy Minister recalled the tasks of increasing production and export of agricultural products set by the President of Russia in his address to the Federal Assembly. In the Kaluga region, innovative livestock complexes and farms are put into operation every year. Over the past 10 years, milk production volumes have more than doubled in the region, which has allowed it to enter the top ten subjects of the Russian Federation in this area.
