Inspectors of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation arrived in the Tambov region with an inspection | 04/26/2024 | Tambov

Author of State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “TAMBOV” These days, experts from the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on Housing and Communal Services are working in our region. The auditors assessed the condition of roads, public spaces, apartment buildings, and engineering infrastructure facilities in Rasskazovo, Kotovsk and the regional center. What recommendations do they leave the Tambov region with and how the work of local officials should change after this meeting.

Along the way, the auditors make stops in parks and squares landscaped as part of the “Creating a comfortable urban environment” Over the past year, there were more than 200 of these throughout the region, 26 of which were transformed under the regional “Road to Home” program.

Experts evaluate the safety of playgrounds, the design, functionality of such playgrounds, and the surrounding area. They noted that the city lacks large-scale spaces like Victory Park. The amenities here were appreciated; there were questions about the playground.

– The problem we face is that they are loosening their grip. Although this solution is more correct than just a carbine.

The quality of roads, city cleaning, lack of a unified design code. Something that is also clearly striking and raises questions. But as we were assured by the city administration, work in each of these areas is already underway. Housing construction is another important point. According to Tambovstat, more than 480 thousand square meters of housing were put into operation last year. There are houses, but, as it turns out, the accessible environment is not everywhere.

– It’s just a lift for bags of potatoes, for furniture, for anything, you can’t let people down here. What you think about, you do for people or for whom.

Experts had questions about how the new house on Morshanskoye Highway passed construction control. The lack of conditions for people with limited mobility is a significant disadvantage. Moreover, this group includes not only disabled people; it should be convenient for pensioners, mothers with strollers, and children.

This approach of the authorities to resolving such issues is wrong. Definitely. I speak harshly. It is necessary to change the attitude of people towards the performance of their duties, those who are responsible for this,

Based on the results of the audit, all recommendations were taken into account. Where possible, the comments were corrected on the spot or will be corrected in the coming days. There is also a preliminary agreement that federal colleagues will provide training for local specialists. And each municipality in the region will have its own experts.
