Sevastopol social activists, together with the builders of the yacht marina, put the 19th Coastal Battery in Balaklava in order before the citywide cleanup.
For the second year now, builders of Mostotrest PJSC, together with activists from the Voluntary People’s Brigade, have been improving this area before the holidays. Now, due to construction work on the Tavricheskaya embankment, the passage to the battery is closed, but workers employed at the yacht marina responded to the request of social activists to help restore order.
Last year, the dilapidated signs with portraits of the defenders of Balaklava on the Memory Alley near the battery were replaced. This time, a seven-meter ventilation shaft was cleared of debris, covered with a special grill, and part of the stand that was damaged during the November storm was welded.
Tomorrow the second citywide cleanup will take place in Sevastopol. I will publish the addresses a little later today.
