According to data published by the main generating company of the Tomsk region, in January-March 2024 its turnover amounted to 3.7 billion rubles (+7.3%).
Revenue from the sale of thermal energy amounted to 2.1 billion rubles (57.9% of the total), which is 8.1% more than in the same period last year. The increase in revenues is explained by lower outdoor temperatures during the reporting period.
Sales of electricity on the wholesale market brought the company 1.1 billion rubles (28.6% of total turnover and +4.6% by the first quarter of 2023), revenue from the sale of capacity amounted to 0.4 billion rubles (12% and +10 .7%).
“The liabilities of Tomsk Generation JSC as of March 31, 2024 amounted to 7.7 billion rubles and, compared to the beginning of the year, increased by 0.4 billion rubles (4.7%) mainly due to a change in the amount of accounts payable to fuel suppliers in in accordance with the terms of the concluded agreements”, – the report says.
The decrease in the volume of electricity produced by the company’s facilities was 0.3% – the reduction in output is explained by the optimization of the load on the main generating equipment. It is noted that the share of natural gas in the fuel balance of Tomsk Generation JSC increased from 80.05% to 83.22%.
